Farvergården is easily recognisable by its beautiful, red, half-timbered façade in the middle of Langegade, Kerteminde’s high street.
Plan Your Visit
A museum, a shop, a café and a lovely garden – these are lie in store for you at Farvergården.
Bring your children and enjoy an unforgettable experience
Visit the exhibition about Marie og Johannes. Aimed at children between 5 and 10, it is all about two children who lived in Kerteminde around 1900, but who came from different backgrounds. Marie was the child of a well-to-do merchant family, while Johannes came from a poorer fishing family. Marie and Johannes tell their own stories, providing us with insight into their different living conditions.
Café and Courtyard Garden
Enjoy a picnic in the museum’s lovely courtyard garden. You can order coffee and cake in the museum shop.
